Please read carefully. Our goal is to get live product to you so you remain a
happy customer.
Shipping live product is challenged by strong heat and cold temperatures - we have
very little problems in mild to moderate temperatures.
General Guidelines
If you choose "next day air" as your shipping
service and live in a UPS considered "Rural" area, please note that they may
add 1 additional day to your delivery.
Crickets that sit outside in the direct sunlight
do not do very well. Please make sure someone is home during the delivery day.
If no one can be home, please have the crickets delivered to your place of work.
UPS will not leave a package at an apartment location without
a signature. They will leave your package at a work or home location.
Extreme Weather
Live Delivery Guarantee during Extreme Weather when following these guidelines:
- Choose Winter Packaging if temperatures are below 50 and above 30.
- No ordering of crickets if your transit night time temperatures are
below 30 degrees (if you order, we will ship with no guarantee).
- Selection of "Next Day Air" Shipping service (or 1 day ground) if you order 1/8" or pinhead crickets
- Selection of "Next Day Air" Shipping service (or 1 day ground) if your temperatures are above 90 degrees.
- Package is accepted by a person when delivered.
- No ordering of crickets if your transit time temperature is above 105 degrees (if you order, we will ship with no guarantee).
Live Delivery Guarantee
All crickets and worms are guaranteed with the exception of the 110 Crickets
and any Cricket Specials that we occasionally run on the website if the above guideline conditions are met.
Someone must physically receive your package to get the guarantee. If your box
sits outside all day in the soaring heat or freezing cold the Live Delivery Guarantee
is waived.
If there is a problem with your order, please call us within 1 day of the receipt
at 234 PET FOOD and/or email allison@premiumcrickets.com to make arrangements
for a replacement.
We reserve the right to determine if we will make a replacement shipment to
you in the event of DOA or add more crickets at no charge to your next order.
Cold Weather Winter PackagingWe reserve the right to add the winter pack charge of $1.75 to your order if we notice that your night time temperatures are below 50 degrees and you did not select the Winter Pack Option.
The responsibility of selecting Winter Packaging when your temperatures are below 50 and above 30 degrees is with the customer. We will try to catch the orders that go out where the customer forgot to add the Winter Packaging, but if we miss it then we are not liable for any DOA occurring as a result.

you in the event of DOA or add more crickets at no charge to your next order.
Refunds
Once an order is placed, it cannot be refunded.

$4.95 Order Processing Fee for Reshipments
In the event you receive a dead box of crickets, we now charge a $4.95 Order Reprocessing Fee to process and ship a replacement order to you. Historically, we only have to reship .5% of all our orders.
