Terms and Conditions

Our goal is for your insects to arrive alive and healthy, so in an attempt to minimize DOAs caused by weekend delays, we only ship orders on certain days. 

  • Ground and Overnight packages ship Monday - Thursday.
  • 2-Day Air packages ship Monday - Wednesday.
There are a few exceptions to this -
  • FedEx will only deliver to residential addresses on Saturday, so if you're a business and order on a Thursday or Friday, it will be shipped the following Monday. 
  • One day zones, such as GA and SC, may ship out on Friday if we can confirm it will arrive by Saturday.

Cut-off time for same day shipping is 2:00PM Eastern Standard Time.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We only guarantee insects that are ordered in quantities of 500 or more, and have the necessary weather protection and shipping method based on the temperature ranges below:

  • 29◦F and lower: No guarantee 
  • 30◦F-50◦F: Overnight with weather protection 
  • 51◦F-80◦F: Ground/ Home Delivery/ 2-Day Air 
  • 81◦F-85◦F: Standard Overnight with weather protection 
  • 86◦F-90◦F: Priority Overnight with weather protection 
  • 91◦F and higher: No guarantee

If your order is DOA and meets these standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, even if it is after-hours or over the weekend. We will see it as soon as we reopen for business. Failure to do so voids the guarantee! 

  • Take photos of the packaging and its contents and email them to support@premiumcrickets.com
  • Please provide your order number and/or tracking number somewhere in the email.
There is a $4.95 processing fee for reshipments.

If you order less than 500 and they arrive dead, we reserve the right to decide whether to send an immediate replacement or credit your next order. 

If you choose to ship your order using USPS, there is no live arrival guarantee.

FedEx Delays, Damages and Refusals

If your package is delayed, damaged, or DOA, DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT! Please accept the shipment and call us to make other arrangements. If you ship your package back to us, we will incur an additional $17 charge from FedEx, which will be passed on to you. Refusing a shipment will void your guarantee and we will not replace or refund your order.

Apartment complexes also reserve the right to refuse a package if they deem it as a prohibited item, so please make sure to check with your office before placing an order.

FedEx Office locations will refuse your shipment, so if you want your package held at a hub, make sure you are shipping to a FedEx Ship Center location! Please note - only express services are accepted (e.g. 2-Day Air or Overnight). Ground shipments can not be shipped to a hub.

Other Shipping Information to Consider

  • FedEx will not ship to a P.O. Box, so please make sure to provide an accurate address.
  • Any changes made to an address after the package is in FedEx's possession will result in a $17 fee. 
  • FedEx will not deliver to an apartment without someone there to receive the package, so please make sure you are home.

If the delivery is delayed due to an incorrect address or because you were not home, your guarantee is void.


Once an order has been placed, it can not be canceled/refunded. We can, however, place your order on hold until you are ready to have it shipped.
